Trevor Braatz
TrevorWe are a family business. Our business was born when Trevor Braatz, Gretchen Braatz (they're married), and Cris Braatz, allied ASID, formed All That Glass to create beautiful, useful, and unusual glass objects for interiors. Trevor a creative, visual, and kinesthetic artisan has developed his art through learning such diverse skills as jewelry making, welding, horseshoeing, ski racing, horseback riding, and glass blowing. He is largely self-taught and has apprenticed with other glass artists.

About Our Handblown Glass
CrisBorosilicate Glass is used for laboratory glassware, domestic
cooking ware better known as 'Pyrex' and many kinds of technical
purposes where a relatively high resistance to both heat and thermal
shock is required. It is also used for low expansion-type glasses
required to bond to metals and for glass with a high degree of
mechanical strength and chemical resistance. It has been used in the
manufacture of optical glass, largely because it tends to produce a
favorable refractive index for light of various wavelengths and
dispersion. It was even used to create the lens for the Hubble space
telescope!
Only in the last few years
has Borosilicate Glass been produced in a variety of colors. This has
been a major bonus for glass artists since the silica and the boric
oxide combination have qualities for working at a lower melting
temperature while maintaining low viscosity.
Our knobs are much more durable than traditional soft Murano glass with the same beautiful colors and light refraction.
